Mission & Service

GPC members and friends seek Christ’s hands in service throughout the surrounding community, the City of St. Louis, and the world at large.

Community Partnerships

GPC actively partners with community organizations in Glendale and beyond. Our facilities are used by a number of groups for meetings and activities, including AA and Al-Anon, Qi Gong, and local Girl Scout troops.

In recent years, GPC has strengthened its partnership with the City of Glendale. For example, the City Board of Alderman used GPC’s fellowship hall and other rooms as public meeting spaces and the church’s parking lot for emergency vehicles and employees during construction of the new fire house and extensive renovation of the city hall and police department facilities. GPC was recognized by the city for its support, and the city repaved the church’s parking lot in return for use of church facilities during its construction. GPC also has previously supported several city-sponsored events such as the annual jazz festival, ice cream social, and annual neighborhood walk/run to raise funds supporting local organizations benefiting youth and emergency responders.
