O Come All Ye Faithful
Advent and Christmas at
Glendale Presbyterian Church
Advent is intended to be a season of anticipation and wonder culminating in the joy-filled birth of our Savior. More often than not Advent, in reality, is a season of feeling frantic and overwhelmed. Our hope is that here at GPC you will find space to connect, slow down, and savor the joy of the season. This year a variety of special music is planned in celebration of the season. Trios and soloists, vocalists, and instrumentalists are all preparing to offer their best. The Liturgical Arts Team has created a beautiful visual piece inspired by Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.” The Gospel of Luke will be our guide to the manger. The Connect Commission prays that you will experience a season of joy and deep peace as we welcome the birth of the Savior, Jesus.
